Cyber Security Escape Box

No room for a big trailer out front? No problem, Escape Room Designer has developed a special Cyber Security Escape Box to convert any room into an escape room. We use these for training on cyber security. This creates awareness among your employees. For your employees, the experience of training begins the moment they become aware of it. This could be an announcement on the Internet, a poster at the entrance to the building, an e-mail or something they didn't expect such as an escape room.

The escape room setup has the look and feel of a military or police control center with appropriate lighting and sound effects and various physical game elements, including the bomb case. This will give you an ideal atmosphere for an exciting, fun and educational training. The bomb doesn't just look spectacular: defusing it is its main goal. In the process, players learn various things about cyber security without really realizing it.

A key element of serious gaming is a realistic setting and a series of events that ties everything together, the storyline. Participants should be able to relate to the storyline through elements of everyday life. The storyline should also support fun and active participation. Escape Room Designer has already developed several successful storylines for IT security game scenarios. We can always personalize the story.

The story

Maria DDoS, or is her name Kelly?, works for your company and had booked a meeting room in a quiet part of the building for an entire week. From the room, she hacked systems. As a result, she had access to several restricted resources and found information about confidential conversations and memos. If published, this confidential information negatively impacted global financial markets. To stop the publication, Maria demanded a ransom: 20 million euros in bitcoins. If she does not receive the payment in her account within 30 minutes, she will publish the information on various Internet sites.
A new team of employees has just arrived on the scene to prevent the leakage of the information. When the participants enter the room, they find a bomb. It must be defused within 30 minutes to ensure that all leaked confidential information is destroyed and can no longer be used by Maria. Failure means that all information will automatically appear on the Internet.
